ATSC Media was founded in 2001 in Maryland, USA to fill an important gap on reporting and understanding Africa and African policies in the USA.
The company first founded The Africa Journal, a newspaper focusing on African trade, politics and culture as well as US and Africa relations. After the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) purchased The Africa Journal, the company launched a magazine reporting mostly on Liberia after the elections of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, which lead to ATSC Media’s first documentary, the critical acclaimed postwar documentary, A Day In Monrovia.
From then on ATSC media has provided media and consulting services to various clients across sectors in everything from politics, agribusiness to film. ATSC Media is focused on developing content, creating narratives and managing relationships to achieve our client goals.
